The first day of fall is just behind us, as Minnesotans we begin to settle in for cooler temperatures and trees that blossom into vivid color. This is nature’s sign that the school year has arrived. Already our kids are busy with homework, after school activities and working to become the leaders of tomorrow. And while this is happening, candidates for this fall’s elections are traveling the state touting their plans for education. A lot of different ideas have been floated and Minnesotans have not been afraid to voice their opinions about our school system.
